What can I use these funds for?

The Town of Gilbert is offering up to $2500* in grant-funded support to help small businesses recover from the pandemic & build long-lasting resiliency for years to come. You will receive access to experts for individual 1:1 consulting support for your business.

Here are a few examples of the types of projects you can work with an advisor on:

Website Improvements

Work with a developer/designer to fix your website or improve your SEO so you can be found online.

New design

Meet with a designer to fix your marketing - design new business cards, flyers or signs.

Financial Review

Work with a CPA to get help you get your books in order and review financial statements.

Automate Operations

Meet with a business automation expert to build automations for streamlining your work.

Hiring Support

Consult with an HR specialist to help you recruit your next hire and help train your team for success.

Meet with a business strategist to help you plan for the future of your business.

Who can qualify?

  • Any business with a Gilbert Business License
  • Must have a Gilbert HUUB account (Free)
  • Nonprofit and for-profit organizations are encouraged to apply
  • All businesses impacted by COVID closures (first priority will be given to women, minority-owned businesses and businesses that have not received this grant before)

Additional FAQ

  • These funds will not be issued directly to you, rather they will be held and paid to the consultants within the Town of Gilbert Technical Assistance Program on your behalf
  • No cash awards or payments will be made directly to businesses
  • You will not need to claim these funds as income
  • Funding is on a first-come, first-served basis
  • All support must be used by December 15, 2021 and expires at that time

*Awards may be valued up to $2500 for services received in this program 

HOW TO APPLY

How do I apply?

  1. Make sure you have a Gilbert HUUB account (if not, sign up here)
  2. Submit your application below (you must include your Gilbert License and EIN)
  3. Get your grant approval by email within 48 hours of submission
  4. Book your consultant through the HUUB advisement booking page (You must begin booking with a consultant within 72 hours of receiving approval or the grant will be reissued to another business.)
  5. Town of Gilbert handles all payments and you get an improved business!
  6. Your grant funding must be used by December 15, 2021

*Businesses that have been previously awarded a technical assistance grant with the Town of Gilbert or Local First Arizona can apply, however, applications from new businesses will be prioritized.
