Our program is rapid and immersive. On average, a participant spends four straight Saturdays (6 hours) and 2-3 hours during the week getting their business launched and flying.

How to Apply

We know this can feel intimidating. You’re just starting your entrepreneurial journey. You’re reading all the things that tell you what you should and shouldn’t do when starting your business. Everyone is telling you entrepreneurship is hard. 

It is. BUT the easiest way to get through it is to do it together with direct guidance and support. 

We promise you, the hardest part is just hitting the start button. 

As a participant of our Rapid Launch program, you get a self-guided approach (do the work on your time) and an accountability group — a weekly office hour that tracks your progress with other entrepreneurs who are going through the same things.  

If you’re ready, here is the breakdown of our application process: 

Step 1: Apply.  This is just an informal application. Don’t feel like you need to impress us with your snazzy skills. In fact, the more you are honest with where you are lacking, the more we can tailor support to your needs. 

Step 2: Follow up interview.  We will schedule an interview to dig into your business to understand if you would be a good fit.

Most frequent questions and answers

Do I have to have an incorporated business?

Nope. You can be incorporated or not. Many businesses run as sole proprietors in the beginning. We will walk through what may be the best solution for you. If you’re unsure about how to go about incorporating, you can always take our optional PREP course.

What are the costs?

This program is normally $2,500/person. With the support of the Town of Gilbert, we have made 5 free scholarships available for Gilbert residents to participate. (Participant is still responsible for their own hosting, domain and email platform fees. Typically $250.)

Who should apply?

Rapid Launch is intended for people who are looking to launch a side hustle, typically a consultancy, agency or service-based business. We have a heavy focus on underestimated entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds. We define representation broadly, including People of Color, Hispanic/Latino, LGBTQ+, Native American, Pacific Islander, Veteran, Military Spouses, Disabled, and more. 

Are there any prerequisites?

There are no formal prerequisites for the program. You must come with a business you want to get off the ground, have access to a computer and internet. The curriculum for this program requires no previous experience in business. 

 

What will I leave with?

You will leave this program with confidence and new tools to run your businesses in the most efficient manner. You will have a website and a marketing plan to go out and start selling in the next 90 days. On top of that, you will be given exclusive discounts/free software and tools that will help you grow your business.

When will I find out if I am accepted?

Applications close January 22 and accepted participants will be notified January 24. The 4-week rapid program begins on February 5.

Our Mission

Rapid Launch is a program from CO+HOOTS, a nationally ranked coworking community and incubator. With over a decade of experience in helping entrepreneurs, Rapid Launch is the compilation of the resources you need to launch  in the most efficient and effective manner. 

Hop over the many challenges in starting a business that experienced entrepreneurs still trip up on. 

This program is all tactical. You won’t get stuck reading long philosophical case studies on what to do. Instead, you will dive hands first into building a business that leverages cutting edge tools so you can focus on what you do best. (Don’t worry, we are here to help you.)
